MaiQi is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Music with a specialisation in Classical Performance at LASALLE College of the Arts under the tutelage of Frank DeMeglio. She has experience in playing repertoires of different stylistic music periods.

She has over 6 years of experience in piano teaching and developing individualised lesson plans to cater to students with various goals in music. Her students typically fall in the age range of 5 to 30 years old.

She is also proficient in Guzheng and received the certificate of Diploma in Guzheng grade from NAFA. She is equipped with music skill sets such as performing, teaching, and accompanying.
